Gujarat High Court strict on Corona's growing cases, said - Lockdown is needed

Coronavirus in Gujarat: The court has asked the government to take a decision based on the situation as soon as possible. The High Court said that the government should take a decision in respect of curfew and weekend curfew for 3 to 4 days in the state.

 

Gandhinagar. The Gujarat High Court has given instructions in the midst of increasing corona infection in the state. The court has commented that there is a need for a lockdown in the state. The court asked to take a decision based on the situation as soon as possible. The High Court said that the government should take a decision in respect of curfew and weekend curfew for 3 to 4 days in the state. For the first time in Gujarat, 3,000 Kovid-19 cases a day were received on Monday. A total of 3,160 cases were reported in the state. Fifteen people died due to infection.

 

Officials of the Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad said that in the last nine days, a total of 899 patients were admitted to the hospital due to corona infection. Of these, 95 percent of those eligible for vaccination were not vaccinated.

 

132 new cases are coming every hour

According to English newspaper Times of India, Medical Superintendent of Civil Hospital, Dr. JP Modi said that out of the 899 patients admitted in the hospital, only 93 anti-corona vaccine received the first dose. At the same time, 21 of these patients received both doses.

Let me tell you that currently there are 16 thousand 252 active cases in the state and 167 patients are on ventilator. Talking about the total number of cases of the state, 3 lakh 21 thousand 598 and the total death toll has reached 4 thousand 581. In the five days of April alone, there were 13,900 cases and 66 deaths. In the current situation, 132 people are hit by Corona every hour.

 

Earlier on Monday, the Gujarat government has taken 7 important decisions to curb the coronavirus infection. A meeting of the core committee was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel regarding this. In this meeting, it has also been decided to ensure adequate supply of oxygen to the patients of Corona. Along with this, people will be distributed masks for just one rupee.

meeting for 60% oxygen medical facilities has been decided in the state that private producers of oxygen in the state will have to give 60 percent oxygen to prevent infection of corona. They can supply only 40 percent of the production supplies for industrial use.

 

The Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister have decided to open 500-500 bed Kovid Center in 8 metropolitan corporations of the state. Its responsibility has been given to 8 IAS-IFS officers. A maximum of two thousand per day will be charged for such Kovid Healthcare Center. The cost of Remedivivir injection is not included in this charge, ie such injection will be charged separately.
